Creature Collage- Stephanie Todhunter

Creature Collage with Stephanie Todhunter As a part of the CAA Day fundraiser, I will be running a free collage workshop at Notch Brewing on Tuesday, May 17th from 6:30-8pm. Please stop by, design a creature collage and have a beer!  I will provide materials and inspiration.  (I’ll bring all sorts of cool vintage papers, magazines, label makers, stamps if I can find them, etc plus some lovely coffee table books about contemporary collage making… and also, there will be beer!).

Join the Cambridge Art Association for an evening of artmaking with our Charles River Speedway neighbors Notch Brewing! This fun evening of drinking and drawing will be hosted at their Brighton Tap Room.

Hello Jerome Street Studio fans!  I’m writing to encourage you to get to know the Cambridge Art Association.  I have been a CAA member for six years and last summer joined the board as secretary.  I am a HUGE fan of the CAA!
The CAA is an excellent way to meet other Boston area artists (especially if you are self taught).  They offer many free and low cost programs: art 101 workshops in different media, portfolio reviews, live drawing classes, meet and greets, website 101 workshops, financial workshops for small business owners and so much more.
It is also an amazing way to engage with local art and artists if you are an art supporter! For the non-artist: art openings, art rentals, art lectures (there’s a really intriguing one about NFTs next week!), open studio visits and so many other “meet the artist” opportunities.

Now is the time to join the Cambridge Art Association.  As a part of their annual fundraiser, the CAA is offering 20% off their annual membership fee, starting Saturday.

Friend (non-artist) benefits include up to 20% discount on programs, invitations to members-only events, 10% discount on artwork, monthly E-newletter and reception and event invitations.

Artist benefits include (depending on level): call for submission to juried and non juried shows, monthly newsletter, website listing, networking opportunities, discounts on CAA programs, 50% off custom framing, spotlight features, 20% new subscription discount on Artwork Archive (I use and highly recommend) and so many more discounts and opportunities with other local art organizations.

Please consider joining the Cambridge Art Association this Saturday.
