Attention Local Artists:
The City of Cambridge’s Department of Public Works is replacing over 150 of the city’s street lamps with new LED lights. As they are replaced the old/exsiting street lamp covers are coming down and will not be reinstalled. Due to this DPW will have on hand around 150+ of these covers (see attached image). The covers cannot be recycled so they were wondering if anyone in the artist community might interested in some or all of them as potential material for an art project. Some of the covers are cracked or dirty but could potentially still be used.
