How do you choose your subject matter? Is there a reoccurring theme that carries throughout your work?
My subject matter and themes usually reference ideas of neuroscience, psychology, and personal relationships.
In your opinion, what’s your best/favorite piece you’ve made?
It’s hard to choose just one. I have several for different reasons. I can remember groundbreaking pieces that really turned a corner for me in terms of development and skill. But the most pride I have for a piece would be “Prosopagnosia.” Prosopagnosia, also known as Face Blindness. I enjoyed the research process that initiated this piece and I thoroughly enjoy the aesthetic qualities as well. It’s a large scale abstract painting based on the perception disorder.
