The Coalition for Arts, Culture, and a Healthy Economy (CACHE) is seeking proposals from artists to create a temporary public art installation for the Mystic River Celebration, a one-day arts celebration in Medford on September 26, 2015. The festival takes place at the Condon Shell in Medford on the banks of the Mystic River (2501 Mystic Valley Parkway).

The installation should be site-specific and reflect the essence of the river, one of Medford’s most important and overlooked assets. There are no restrictions on materials, structure, placement, or size, though all decisions should take into account the layout of the festival, potential wet weather, and available space and will be discussed with festival organizers.

The artist stipend for this project is $600 including the cost of materials*
